How it works and how to install it
The light features a clip with a 2.7 cm opening that attaches to the top edge of your phone or tablet — no setup required, just clip it on and it's ready to use. Turning it on and selecting the light intensity is done by successive presses of the side button: one press for low intensity, two for medium, three for maximum, the fourth press turns it off. Recharging is done via the included USB port, and a full charge provides multiple photo sessions.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
