How it works and how to install it
The magnifier works by simply pressing the button on the handle, activating either the white LED for general illumination or the purple LED for special checks. The CR2032 batteries are already installed in the compartment in the handle, accessible via a sliding cover. It requires no installation or setup, it's ready to use immediately. To replace the batteries, slide the cover at the bottom of the handle, remove the old batteries and insert the new ones, observing the marked polarity.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
