Industrial Limit Switch with Balanced Roller
The CSA-031 limit switch with an adjustable metal roller ensures precise control of industrial and domestic automated systems. Manufactured with a robust housing and IP65 protection rating, it withstands difficult working conditions and guarantees over 10 million mechanical cycles. The ideal solution for automatic gates, production machines, cranes, and complex automation systems.
What you get with this product
- Extreme reliability with 10 million mechanical operations and 500,000 cycles with electrical load
- Metal roller on an adjustable length rod for quick adaptation to any mounting configuration
- IP65 protection against dust and water jets, perfect for aggressive industrial environments
- Powerful 10A contacts for active loads and 4A for inductive loads, without additional relays
- Simple mounting via two fixing holes, compatible with PG11 fitting for quick wiring
- Stable operation between -5 and +65 degrees Celsius, including in unheated warehouses or outdoor spaces
How it works and how to install it
The limit switch is activated by the action of a movable part on the metal roller, which, by balancing back and forth, triggers or releases the electrical contact. The roller is mounted on an adjustable rod, allowing precise adjustment of the trigger point. Installation is done by fixing the housing with two screws in the desired position, connecting the cables via the PG11 gland, and finally adjusting the rod length to synchronize with the machine's movement.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it withstand rain and moisture if I mount it on an outdoor gate?
Yes, the IP65 protection rating guarantees resistance to water jets and operation at up to 95% humidity, making it perfect for outdoor use.
How often does it need to be replaced with intensive use?
Under normal industrial use, it withstands over 10 million mechanical operations, equivalent to over 10 years of continuous operation in typical applications.
Can I connect inductive loads such as electric motors?
Yes, the contacts support up to 4A inductive load, sufficient for most gate motors and medium-sized domestic or industrial automation systems.
