How it works and how to install it
The XH71 P50 flashlight uses an XHP50 LED mounted on an aluminum head with an acrylic convex lens, operated by a rubber button with moisture protection. Insert the included 18650 battery into the aluminum body, close the threaded cap, and the flashlight is ready for immediate use. To charge it, connect the USB cable to the port on the flashlight body and to any 5V USB source — it does not require disassembly or a dedicated charger.

How long does the battery last on a full charge?
Battery life varies depending on the selected mode — at maximum intensity, you can estimate between 1.5 and 2 hours, and at reduced intensity, battery life increases significantly. The included 18650 battery is also compatible with standard models on the market if you want an additional reserve.
Is it waterproof? Can I use it in the rain?
The flashlight is equipped with two rubber sealing rings and is resistant to splashing from any direction, making it suitable for use in light rain or fog. It is not designed for submersion.
How do I switch between lighting modes?
Successive presses of the rubber button switch between the available modes — high intensity, low intensity, and strobe. The zoom is adjusted manually by pushing or pulling the flashlight head.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
