How it works and how to install
The flashlight is powered by the 2 included 26650 Li-Ion batteries, which are inserted into the tubular body consisting of 4 threaded segments — assembly takes less than a minute, without tools. Light modes are selected by successively pressing the side button, and the zoom is adjusted by simply rotating the head back and forth between 25.5 cm and 28 cm. Charging is done directly via the included Micro-USB cable, connected to any standard USB source, with the port protected by the rubber cap after use.

How long do the included batteries last on a full charge?
Autonomy depends on the light mode used — at maximum intensity it is shorter, while at the low setting it can significantly exceed the duration at maximum power. The 2 x 5000mAh batteries each offer a consistent reserve and can be replaced one by one without interrupting use.
Can I use this flashlight in the rain or wet conditions?
Yes, the body is equipped with rubber rings on each segment that protect against water and dust infiltration, but it is not designed for prolonged submersion or immersion.
Can I charge the flashlight and use it simultaneously?
It is not recommended — turning on the flashlight during charging can damage the LEDs. Fully charge the batteries before use.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
