The XPG-R5 Ultra LED flashlight with a built-in battery charges directly via the USB port, eliminating the need for disposable batteries. With a length of only 95 mm and a low weight, it is easily carried in a pocket, backpack, or bike bag. IPX6 water resistance and an aluminum casing make it suitable for outdoor activities, as well as home or industrial use.

How it works and how to install
The flashlight has an integrated battery; for charging, unscrew the rear cap and connect the male USB plug to any charger, laptop, or power bank with a 5V output. The zoom is adjusted by manually sliding the flashlight head back and forth, and switching it on and off is done via a single orange side button. No tools or technical knowledge required.

The Q-19A036 model operates with a single continuous lighting mode, controlled by the on-off button; it does not include strobe or SOS modes.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
