The Q-19B011 headlamp with sensor combines a T6 LED with adjustable zoom and two side COB sources for proximity lighting, thus offering complete flexibility depending on the situation. Suitable for camping, fishing, hunting, or any outdoor nocturnal activity, this headlamp operates on 18650 rechargeable batteries included in the package. The result is an autonomous, splash-resistant light source, ready for use from day one.

How it works and how to install
The headlamp is secured in a few seconds by adjusting the side elastic bands and the vertical one on the head — no tools or technical knowledge required. A short press of the main button switches between lighting modes, and a long press activates the IR sensor mode, in which a hand movement approximately 3-5 cm from the sensor turns the light on or off. The batteries are charged directly through the integrated USB port in the battery case, connecting the included cable to any standard USB source.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
