How it works and how to install
The COB LED lamp with magnet runs on 3 AAA (R3) batteries, which are inserted into the compartments on the back of the unit — the removable covers are visible in the product images. It can be attached either by direct magnetic adhesion to any metal surface or by screwing it in with two included screws. No electrical connection or technical knowledge is required — the entire process takes less than two minutes.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
