How it works and how to install it
The work light operates at 12V DC voltage and is powered directly from a vehicle's battery via the two color-coded clamps included in the package – red for the positive terminal, black for the negative. The hook at the top of the lamp allows it to be hung on any suitable surface, completely freeing your hands during work.

Can I use this lamp with the car if the battery is partially discharged?
Yes, the lamp consumes very little power thanks to the SMD LEDs, so the risk of further battery discharge during short-term use is minimal. Prolonged use with the engine off on already weak batteries is not recommended.
Is the 10-meter cable robust enough for use in a car service?
The cable has a cross-section of 2 x 1mm², suitable for 12V voltage, and is built for practical use in a workshop. It is recommended to avoid running it under wheels or in areas with very high temperatures.
Can it be used outdoors, in the rain?
The lamp is designed for use in covered spaces such as garages and workshops. It does not have a certified IP protection rating for use in rain, so direct exposure to water should be avoided.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
