How it works and how to install it
The kit replaces the existing control board of the air conditioner. It connects to the included 12V transformer, the dual temperature sensor is mounted on the indoor and outdoor units, and the IR receiver is visibly fixed for the remote control signal. A detailed installation diagram is printed on the packaging and on the side of the box. Installation requires basic electrical knowledge or calling an authorized HVAC technician.

Is it compatible with any brand of air conditioner?
The kit works with most split units, including generic Chinese and European brands. It is not compatible with latest-generation inverter systems with proprietary protocols.
Can I install the kit myself or do I need an electrician?

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
