The HST06 dimmable touch sensor switch allows for light control and intensity adjustment with a simple touch, without mechanical buttons that wear out over time. Compact and discreet, with a cap of only 13mm in diameter, it integrates easily into wall lights, table lamps, LED strip light fixtures, or display cabinets. It operates at 12V DC and supports a current of 2.5A, covering most indoor LED lighting applications.

How it works and how to install it
The dimmable touch sensor switch is mounted on the power supply line between the 12V DC source and the light fixture, connecting the positive and negative wires according to the color coding. A 10mm hole is cut into the mounting surface, the switch body is inserted to a maximum depth of 20mm, and secured by the included side clips. A single short touch turns the light on or off, and a long touch gradually adjusts the intensity — no additional configuration is required.

Does this touch switch work with a 12V LED strip of 30W?
At 12V and 2.5A, the maximum allowed power is 30W, so an LED strip of exactly this power is at the nominal limit. For safety, a maximum load of 25-28W is recommended for this sensor.
What is the maximum thickness of the panel it can be mounted in?
The required mounting depth is a maximum of 20mm, so the panel or surface into which the switch body is inserted must not exceed this dimension.
Does it work at 24V DC or only at 12V?
This HST06 model is designed exclusively for 12V DC. Use at higher voltages may damage the sensor and void the warranty.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
