How it works and how to install it
The isolator is installed in the DC line between the photovoltaic panels and the inverter, before any other protection or meter. Connection is made directly via MC4 plugs: the two input connectors receive cables from the panel strings, and the two output connectors go to the inverter or the DC distribution board. No special electrical tools are required for intervention — mechanical installation is done using fixing screws on the wall or supporting structure, and electrical connections are manually clipped using the MC4 standard.

This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
