How it works and how to install
The isolator is installed in series on the DC cable between the panels and the inverter, using the included MC4 connectors — 1 IN / 1 OUT configuration for a single string. Turning the handle from the ON to the OFF position completely interrupts the DC circuit, allowing for safe interventions. Installation does not require advanced electrical knowledge: connect the positive and negative cables from the panel string to the MC4 inputs, fix the housing to the desired surface, and the installation is ready.

This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
