How it works and how to install it
The circuit breaker is mounted in the main electrical panel on a DIN rail or by direct screw fixing. The power cables are connected to the upper terminals, and the output cables to the lower terminals, using the screws from the kit. The lever allows manual opening and closing of the circuit, and the red reset button unlocks the mechanism after an automatic disconnection caused by an overload. Installation requires an authorized electrician in accordance with occupational safety regulations.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use this circuit breaker for a 75kW three-phase motor?
Yes, the circuit breaker supports the current required for such a motor at standard industrial voltages of 380-400V, provided the 250A capacity is respected.
How do I know when to press the reset button?
The button turns red or pops out of position after an automatic disconnection. You only press reset after checking and eliminating the cause that led to the interruption.
Can it be mounted in an old electrical panel with screw mounting, not on a DIN rail?
Yes, the construction allows direct fixing through the mounting holes with screws, independent of the DIN rail.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
