How it works and how to install
The motor starter combines the functions of an electromagnetic contactor and a thermal protection relay. When the green Start button is pressed, the contactor closes, powering the three-phase motor, and the relay continuously monitors the absorbed current. In case of overload or short circuit, the relay automatically disconnects the circuit, stopping the motor and preventing damage. Mounting is done by screw fixing, connecting the power and motor cables to the marked terminals, and powering the control circuit at 230V AC to the dedicated terminals. Four ISO20 cable entries are available, two top and two bottom, facilitating installation organization.
