How it works and how to install
The switch connects in series between the 12V battery and the auxiliary headlights via its 4 pins: two pins for power, two for control. The red LED illuminates automatically when the button is activated, confirming current flow. Dashboard mounting is done via a standard cutout for rocker switches. No special tools are required — just a multimeter to check polarity and faston connectors for secure connections. Does the LED stay on if I leave the headlights on and turn off the ignition?

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
