How it works and how to install it
Connect the red cable to the positive terminal of the battery, the black cable to the negative terminal, then plug the charger into the outlet. The red LED indicates an active charging process, and when the battery is full, the green LED illuminates automatically. After charging is complete, first unplug the charger from the outlet, then disconnect the cables from the battery in reverse order.
No manual settings required — the charger automatically detects the battery status and adjusts the current to protect the lead-acid cells.

How long does it take to fully charge a 12Ah battery?
At a nominal current of 1A, a completely discharged 12Ah battery requires approximately 14-16 hours for a full charge, depending on the initial discharge level.
Can I leave the charger connected overnight without risk?
Yes, the charger has automatic overcharge protection and switches to maintenance mode when the battery is full, making it safe for unsupervised use.
Does it also work for AGM or GEL batteries?

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
