How it works and how to install it
The driver connects to the outlet via the input cables (220V AC) and powers the LEDs via the output cables (DC 28-39V). Connections are clearly marked with colors: brown and blue cables for input, red and black cables for output. Installation requires observing polarity and securely fixing the driver in a ventilated area, away from flammable surfaces.
No advanced electrical knowledge is required, but for permanent installations, it is recommended to have the connections checked by an experienced person. The driver starts operating immediately after correct connection to the mains and the LED system.

Can I use this driver for 12V LED strips?
No, this driver is designed for high-power SMD LEDs with an operating voltage of 28-39V. For standard 12V LED strips, you need a dedicated 12V transformer.
Does it get very hot during operation?
The aluminum casing heats up moderately during normal operation, which is normal for heat dissipation. Install the driver in a ventilated area for optimal cooling.
How much extra current does the driver consume in addition to the LEDs?
The driver has high efficiency, with minimal energy loss. For 50W LEDs, the total consumption from the outlet is approximately 52-55W, with the difference representing normal conversion losses.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
