How it works and how to install it
The dimmer connects in series between the DC power source and the LED strip: the input wires (V+ and V-) come from the source, and the output wires go to the strip. The rotary knob controls a PWM signal that adjusts the light intensity without changing the voltage, which means the LEDs do not heat up additionally and do not degrade faster. Installation does not require special tools — only a screwdriver for tightening the terminals — but for permanent installations, it is recommended to involve a qualified electrician.

Does this dimmer work with any LED strip?
It works with monochromatic LED strips (single channel) powered by 12V or 24V DC. It is not compatible with RGB, RGBW strips or AC power sources.
What length of LED strip can I connect to this dimmer?
At 12V you can connect strips with a total consumption of up to 360W, and at 24V up to 720W — equivalent to tens of meters of strip, depending on the type chosen.
Does the dimmer get hot during operation?
At high loads, it can get warm, but the metal casing with ventilation slots dissipates heat efficiently. The guaranteed operating temperature is between -20°C and +60°C.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
