Professional Cutter with 18mm Blade and Secure Locking System
Robust cutter with a hard plastic body and an 18mm steel blade, ideal for precise cuts in cardboard, film, textiles, or similar materials. Equipped with a locking system and a chrome-plated sliding support, it ensures precision and safety in any DIY or packaging project.
What you get with this product
- Precise and controlled cuts thanks to the 0.50mm thick steel blade and the serrated indexing support
- Increased safety through the button with a leaf spring locking mechanism that prevents accidental slipping
- Change a worn blade in under 30 seconds using the special cap with a slot for breaking off segments
- Comfortable grip even during prolonged use due to the ABS button with anti-slip grooves
- Resistance to intensive wear through the chrome-plated sliding support and hard plastic body
- Maximum versatility for cardboard, film, plastic, textiles, and other soft materials
How it works and how to install
The cutter is ready to use right out of the box. To extend the blade, press the lock button and slide the chrome-plated support to the desired length, then release the button which secures the position via the spring mechanism. The serrated profile allows for precise indexing in multiple positions. When a blade segment dulls, open the rear cap, break off the worn segment using the special slot, and close the cap. A full blade change is just as simple, requiring no additional tools.
Frequently Asked Questions
How secure is the blade locking system?
The leaf spring mechanism automatically locks the blade in the selected position, preventing accidental retraction during use. The indexing system with a serrated profile ensures stable fixation.
Can I use standard 18mm replacement blades?
Yes, the cutter accepts any standard 18mm wide and 100mm long blade, commercially available. The included blade is 0.50mm thick.
Can it be used for cutting thick materials like carpets?
The cutter is optimized for soft and semi-rigid materials such as cardboard, film, textiles, or thin plastic. For very thick or hard materials, we recommend a more robust industrial cutter.
