How it works and how to install it
The converter connects directly to the PS2's AV Multi Out port, without hardware modifications. Power the unit via the included USB cable, connected either to the PS2's USB port or a 5V 1A wall adapter. Before first use, you need to go into the PS2 settings and change the video output from RGB to Component (Y Cb/Pb Cr/Pr) — without this step, the image will not appear on the TV. After this setting, connect the HDMI cable between the converter and the TV and the image will appear instantly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is there no image on the TV after I connected the converter?
The most common reason is that the PS2's video output is set to RGB instead of Component (Y Cb/Pb Cr/Pr). Turn on the console without a disc, enter the configuration menu, and change this setting, after which the image will appear immediately.
Do I need to buy a separate HDMI cable?
Yes, the HDMI cable is not included in the package. In the box you will find the converter and the USB power cable; the HDMI cable must be purchased separately.
Does it work with all PlayStation 2 models?
Yes, the converter is compatible with all PS2 variants that have the standard AV Multi Out port, including slim and original fat models.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
