The 12-24V RGB LED controller with a 24-key remote allows you to control the color and effects of your multicolored LED strip directly from a distance, without any complications. Compatible with 12V and 24V RGB strips, it is suitable for both indoor ambient installations and higher consumption applications, thanks to its maximum capacity of 24A. How it works and how to install it
The controller connects between the power supply and the RGB LED strip: the DC power cable enters through the 2.1mm jack, and the strip connects to the output terminals marked B (blue), G (green), R (red), and V+ (common plus), using a common anode connection. After connection, the IR remote works immediately, without pairing or configuration — simply press the desired button and the strip responds instantly. The entire installation takes a few minutes and does not require advanced electrical knowledge.

It works with both voltages — the accepted range is DC 12V-24V, and the maximum output current remains 24A regardless of the chosen voltage.

At 12V you can connect strips with a total power of up to 288W, and at 24V up to 576W — by dividing by the power per meter of your strip you get the maximum allowed length.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
