How it works and how to install it
The LC1D contactor automatically switches the electrical circuit via the 220V control coil. When the coil is energized, the main contacts close, allowing current up to 80A to flow to the motor or machinery. When the coil power is interrupted, the contacts open instantly and stop the circuit.
Installation is done by mounting on a standard DIN rail in the electrical panel. You connect the control coil to the 220V source and the power circuit to the main terminals — no welding or panel modifications required. We recommend installation by a certified electrician for maximum safety.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
