BNC T-Connector for Coaxial Video Signal Distribution
The BNC T-connector (1 male - 2 female) allows for branching of a video signal from an RG59 or RG6 coaxial cable to two destinations simultaneously. It is a practical solution for CCTV system installers who need to distribute the signal from a DVR or a video camera to two monitors or televisions without using additional equipment. The nickel-plated metal body ensures stable electrical contact and durability during repeated use.
What you get with this product
- Video signal distribution without significant losses — connect a single coaxial cable to two screens or recorders
- Compatible with RG59 and RG6 cables — works with the most common types of coaxial cable in CCTV installations
- All-metal nickel-plated body — resistant to oxidation, with firm electrical contact at each connection
- Tool-free installation — simply screw in the male connector and insert the female plugs
- Compact T-format — takes up minimal space in distribution panels or junction boxes
- Available in a set of 100 pieces — ideal for larger-scale installation projects
How it works and how to install it
The BNC T-connector has one male port and two female ports arranged in a T-shape, allowing an input signal to be distributed to two outputs. Installation is simple: the main coaxial cable connects to the male plug by screwing it in, and the two output cables are inserted into the female plugs. No special tools or advanced electrical knowledge are required.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use this BNC T-connector to send the image from a CCTV camera to two televisions?
Yes, this is exactly what it is designed for — the signal from the camera or DVR entering through the male plug is distributed to the two female plugs, each connected to a monitor or television.
Is there a loss of video signal quality when using a BNC T-connector?
For short distances and standard analog CCTV installations, signal degradation is minimal and acceptable. For very long distances or weak signals, it is recommended to use an additional signal amplifier.
Is the connector compatible with AHD, TVI, or CVI systems?
Yes, the BNC T-connector is passive and compatible with all analog video formats transmitted via coaxial cable, including AHD, TVI, CVI, and CVBS.
