The CNP275 4-pole waterproof electrical connector ensures secure and watertight connections for cables with a diameter between 5 and 11 mm, whether for street lighting, photovoltaic installations, or buried circuits. The Polyamide PA66 casing and integrated rubber rings provide certified IP68 protection, allowing use even in wet or underground environments, at depths of up to 3.5 m.

How it works and how to install
The connector disassembles into two parts: the outer casing with the tightening nut and the internal screw terminal block. The cable is inserted through the casing, the wires are secured in the screw terminals of the internal block, after which the casing is tightened over the block, compressing the rubber rings and achieving complete sealing. The entire process takes a few minutes and does not require power tools or advanced electrical knowledge.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
