How it works and how to install it
The connector uses a mechanism with orange levers that activate internal clamps. To connect, lift the top lever, insert the stripped cable into the corresponding opening, then lower the lever — the clamp automatically presses on the conductor, ensuring electrical contact. To disconnect, simply lift the lever again and pull the cable effortlessly. It does not require special insulation stripping or tightening, working perfectly with solid BV wires, hard stranded BVR, or flexible RV. It is installed directly into standard apparatus or junction boxes.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
