How it works and how to install it
The capacitor provides the additional current needed at motor startup, then maintains optimal operation in steady state. Installation is done by connecting the 4 male lugs to the motor terminals, according to the electrical diagram of the appliance, then securing it with the included screw on the metal support. Installation takes less than 10 minutes and does not require advanced electrical knowledge, only observing the polarity indicated on the casing.

Does it fit any electric motor, or do I need to check something?
Check the capacitance in microfarads and the rated voltage on the old capacitor or in the motor's technical manual. This model is 200uF/450V and fits most medium-power single-phase motors.
How long does the capacitor last in continuous operation?
At 450V, it guarantees 3000 hours of continuous operation class C, equivalent to over 4 months non-stop. With intermittent use, the lifespan increases significantly.
Can I install it outdoors for a water pump?
Yes, it operates at extreme temperatures down to -40°C and up to +85°C, but the casing is not sealed. For outdoor use, we recommend additional protection in an IP65 distribution box.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
