20A Industrial Rotary Switch for Safe Machine Control
The 5-cam rotary switch with 10 contact pairs ensures precise and safe switching for industrial motors and machinery up to 4kW. Designed for durability in industrial environments, this 2-position (1-0) rotary switch operates only in the active position, offering intuitive control and protection against accidental startup.
What you get with this product
- Precise control via a visible rotary lever with clearly marked positions — eliminates the risk of unintentional switching
- 20A switching capacity and 660V rated voltage — suitable for heavy machinery, three-phase motors, industrial pumps
- Quick installation through a 51mm hole and screw clamp fixing — no special tools required
- Resistance to over 1,000,000 switching cycles — a long-term investment for your production line
- IP42 protection after mounting — stable operation in environments with moderate dust and humidity
- 10 pairs of independent contacts — maximum flexibility in configuring complex electrical circuits
How it works and how to install it
The switch is mounted by making a 51mm circular cutout in the electrical panel and secured with the included nut. Screw terminals allow for quick wiring according to the machine's electrical schematic. The rotary lever switches between position 0 (off, no contact) and position 1 (on, all circuits active). Each of the 5 cams independently actuates 2 contacts, allowing complex electrical configurations for motors, pumps, or production machines.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can it be used for 380V three-phase motors?
Yes, the switch supports rated voltages up to 660V and current of 20A, being compatible with industrial three-phase motors up to 4kW at 380V.
What diameter should the mounting hole in the electrical panel be?
The cutout hole must be exactly 51mm in diameter for correct switch mounting.
Is it resistant to humidity or dust in the workshop?
Yes, after proper mounting, the switch offers IP42 protection, resistant to dust and occasional splashing, making it suitable for standard industrial environments.
