20A Industrial Rotary Switch for Safe Machine Control
This combination rotary switch with 4 cams and 8 contact pairs ensures reliable control of industrial equipment up to 4kW. Designed for machinery, machine tools, and production lines, it operates at voltages up to 660V and offers over 1 million switching cycles. The 2 distinct 1-0 positions system allows for precise power control, making it ideal for workshops, factories, and professional applications.
What you get with this product
- Proven industrial reliability — withstands over 1,000,000 switching cycles, guaranteeing long-term, fault-free operation
- Quick professional installation — standard 51mm diameter cutout and screw terminal connection, compatible with existing electrical panels
- Clear circuit protection — in the 0 position, control is completely interrupted, eliminating the risk of accidental machine startup
- High switching capacity — supports 20A thermal current and 4kW equipment, suitable for motors, pumps, and production machines
- Extended thermal resistance — operates stably between -25 and +70 degrees Celsius, ideal for demanding industrial environments
- Immediate status visibility — red rotary handle with clear position markings, reducing operating errors
How it works and how to install it
The switch operates by rotating the handle between positions 0 and 1, where position 1 activates the electrical circuit and position 0 completely interrupts it. The 4 cams simultaneously control 8 contact pairs, allowing for complex control configurations. Installation requires a 51mm round cutout in the electrical panel, after which the switch body is secured and connections are made to the screw terminals according to the electrical diagram. In accordance with IP42 protection standards, correct mounting ensures resistance to dust and splashing.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the maximum power I can switch with this switch?
The switch is rated for a maximum of 4kW and 20A thermal current. For electric motors, capacity varies depending on voltage according to AC-15 and DC-13 standards.
Can I use the switch outdoors or in wet environments?
The IP42 protection rating after mounting makes it suitable for indoor and dry industrial areas. It is not recommended for outdoor use without an additional protective enclosure.
How often does it need to be replaced with intensive use?
With a reliability of 1,000,000 cycles, at 100 switches per day, its lifespan exceeds 27 years. Under normal workshop conditions, it does not require periodic replacement.
