20A Industrial Rotary Switch with 3 Positions for Professional Machinery
The D202/2 rotary switch with 2 cams and 1-0-2 configuration is designed for precise control of industrial equipment up to 4kW. Suitable for workshops, production lines, and installations where safe switching between two independent electrical circuits is required. Robust construction with insulation up to 660V and guaranteed reliability for over 1 million cycles.
What you get with this product
- Precise control with 3 positions: 1-0-2, with a central full stop position for maximum safety
- Industrial capacity of 20A and 4kW, sufficient for motors, pumps, and workshop machinery
- Long-term reliability with guaranteed resistance to over 1 million switching cycles
- Simple installation via panel mounting with a 51mm diameter cutout, quick fixing
- IP42 protection after mounting, resistant to dust and splashes in industrial environments
- 4 pairs of contacts for complex wiring configurations and simultaneous control
How it works and how to install
The switch operates by rotating the handle to one of the 3 marked positions: position 1 activates the first circuit, position 0 completely cuts off power, and position 2 activates the second independent circuit. Installation is done by cutting a 51mm hole in the electrical panel, inserting the switch, and securing it with the provided nut. Connections are made via screw terminals on the 4 pairs of contacts, according to the machinery's electrical diagram. Operates in the temperature range of -25 to +70 degrees Celsius.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use this switch for a 3kW three-phase motor?
Yes, the switch supports up to 4kW and 20A, making it suitable for 3kW three-phase motors connected to 380V.
What does the 1-0-2 configuration mean and how does it differ from a classic switch?
The 1-0-2 configuration allows selection between two independent circuits, with a central full stop position. Unlike a simple on-off switch, this one controls two different devices or functions.
Is a certified electrician required for installation?
Yes, installation requires intervention in the electrical panel and knowledge of industrial wiring. We recommend installation by qualified personnel for compliance and safety.
