How it works and how to install
The pliers operate through an automatic adjustment mechanism that detects the cable diameter and adjusts the cutting pressure. You set the stripping length on the graduated scale, insert the cable into the correct position, and squeeze the handles — the insulation is cut circularly without touching the conductor. For crimping, select the appropriate cavity for insulated or non-insulated terminals and press firmly. No assembly or prior calibration is required.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
