How it works and how to install it
The clock is powered either via the included USB cable connected to any phone charger, or with a CR2032 battery for autonomous operation. The mirror effect display becomes visible only when the LEDs are lit, and the side buttons allow for quick setting of time, date, and the two alarms. The brightness level adjusts automatically according to the time of day or manually via buttons.
Installation requires no tools — simply position the clock on the desired surface thanks to its foldable stand and turn it on. All settings are made intuitively via the 5 buttons on the top.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the clock work without the USB cable connected?
Yes, you can use the CR2032 battery for autonomous operation, but the LED will be dimmer. For a constant display at maximum intensity, USB power is recommended.
Is it too bright at night, or can I adjust the intensity?
The clock has an automatic brightness adjustment function between 6 PM and 6 AM, switching to dimmed mode. There are also 2 manual brightness levels.
How large is the display and is it clearly visible from a distance?
The total size is 18.5 x 7.6 cm, with 7.6 cm high LED digits, very visible even from 3-4 meters away.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
