How it works and how to install it
Connect the included USB type-C cable to any phone charger or USB port, and the clock will start automatically. To set the time, press and hold the MODE button for 2 seconds, then adjust the hour and minutes with the Up/Down buttons. The alarm is set similarly, by accessing the menu with short presses on MODE. The projector arm rotates manually to direct the red LED projection onto the ceiling or wall. The included CR2032 battery retains settings in case of a power outage.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the projection visible during the day or only at night?
The red LED projection is optimally visible in darkness or semi-darkness. During the day, in strong light, it may be less clear, but at night it works perfectly up to 5 meters.
Do I lose settings if the power goes out?
No, the CR2032 Li-ion battery keeps the time, alarm, and all settings in memory even without mains power.
Can I adjust the display brightness so it doesn't disturb me at night?
Yes, the clock includes an intensity adjustment for the white LED light; you can reduce the brightness for maximum comfort during sleep.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
