How it works and how to install it
The clock sits on any flat surface using its integrated base. You connect the included USB cable to any phone charger or power bank, or use the already included CR2032 battery for backup. The projector is manually adjusted 180 degrees to display the time on the ceiling or wall. The buttons on the back allow for quick setting of the time, date, and the two independent alarms. Automatic brightness adjustment activates automatically in the evening, reducing the LED intensity for nighttime comfort.

Is the projection clearly visible during the day or only at night?
The red laser projection is clearly visible at night and in low light conditions. During the day, it works best on dark surfaces or in rooms with drawn curtains.
If the power goes out, do I lose the alarm and time settings?
No, the included CR2032 backup battery keeps all settings and the exact time even if the USB power is disconnected.
How large is the digital display on the mirror?
The LED display is 185 mm wide, with large and clear digits visible from over 5 meters away in the room.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
