Extension head with 3 Schuko sockets and ceramic contacts
This extension head with three earthed Schuko sockets offers a safe and durable solution for expanding electrical power points. The ceramic contacts withstand high temperatures, ensuring protection against overheating. Ideal for workshops, garages, kitchens, or commercial spaces where you need multiple sockets in one place.
What you get with this product
- Three earthed Schuko sockets for simultaneous power supply to multiple electrical appliances up to 15A
- Ceramic and brass contacts that withstand higher temperatures than standard plastic, extending lifespan
- Integrated child protection at each socket, blocking access to electrical contacts
- Flame-retardant ABS material that does not propagate flames in case of overload or short circuit
- Simple installation on standard electrical cable, minimum 3x1mm2, without special tools
- Robust construction suitable for intensive domestic, industrial, or commercial use
How it works and how to install
The extension head is mounted directly on the electrical cable by opening the housing and connecting the wires to the clearly marked internal terminals. After fixing the cable and closing the cover, the device is ready for use. The ceramic contacts ensure efficient heat dissipation generated by the electric current, preventing overheating even under continuous loads of up to 15A per socket.
Frequently Asked Questions
What cable thickness can I use with this extension head?
It is recommended to use an electrical cable with a minimum cross-section of 3x1mm2 to safely support a 15A load.
Can I connect powerful appliances such as kettles or heaters?
Yes, each socket supports up to 15A at 250V AC, sufficient for most household appliances, including high-power ones.
Why are ceramic contacts better than plastic ones?
Ceramics withstand much higher temperatures than plastic, reducing the risk of melting or deformation during intensive or prolonged use.
