Flat MYYUP 2x1.5mm Cable for Electrical Installations
The MYYUP 2x1.5mm flat electrical cable is the suitable solution for powering video cameras, doorbells, radios, and other low-power accessories. Featuring a flexible copper conductor (class 5) and a durable PVC sheath, the 100m roll covers medium-sized projects without additional splices. The flat shape of the sheathing facilitates discrete installation on surfaces or in cable ducts.
What you get with this product
- 100m roll in a single piece — avoids splices and voltage drops over long lengths
- Flexible stranded pure copper conductor (class 5) — reduced electrical resistance and long-term durability
- Flat cable shape — easily positioned under windowsills, on walls, or in conduits without creating visible bulges
- PVC sheath with flame propagation retardation — reduced risk in case of accidental overload
- Color-differentiated conductors (red/black) — quick polarity identification, avoiding connection confusion
- Rated voltage 300/300V — compatible with most low-voltage accessories and surveillance systems
How it works and how to install
The MYYUP 2x1.5mm cable unrolls directly from the reel and is cut to the required length with ordinary pliers. Due to its flat shape, it can be easily guided along linear routes, secured with clamps, or inserted into small cable ducts. It requires no special tools — the conductors are manually separated at the end, stripped, and connected directly to the terminals of the powered devices.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use this cable to power an outdoor surveillance camera?
MYYUP cable is not recommended for environments with high humidity or direct exposure to weather. For outdoor use, additional protection via a sealed conduit or cable duct is required.
What is the maximum permissible current for the 1.5mm cross-section?
For a 1.5 sq mm cross-section and a maximum operating temperature of 70 degrees C, the permissible current in typical installations is approximately 10-13A, depending on the installation method and ambient temperature.
Can the roll be cut to a shorter length, for example 10m or 20m?
The product is sold exclusively in complete 100m rolls. The cable can be cut to any length after purchase, without special tools.
