The MYYUP 2x0.5mm flat electrical cable is the right solution for powering low-voltage equipment: surveillance cameras, doorbells, radios and other low-power electrical accessories. With a Class 5 stranded copper conductor and double PVC insulation, it offers good flexibility for installation and a long service life under normal use conditions. The 100m roll allows for long runs without additional splices.

How it works and how to install it
The MYYUP 2x0.5mm cable is cut to the desired length directly from the roll, positioned along the chosen path, and connected to the power source and the powered equipment, respecting the color coding: red for plus, black for minus or neutral. Installation does not require special tools — a wire stripper and a screwdriver are sufficient. It is recommended to install indoors or in areas protected from excessive humidity and intense heat sources, as the PVC sheath provides mechanical protection against light stresses.

Yes, the MYYUP 2x0.5mm cable is suitable for 12V DC power supply, provided that the camera's consumption falls within the current carrying capacity of the 0.5mm² section over the chosen cable length.
Can this cable be installed outdoors or buried in the wall?
Installation outdoors exposed to humidity or buried directly in plaster is not recommended, as the PVC sheath is not certified for such environments. It is intended for dry indoor installations or protected areas.
How flexible is the cable and can it be cut to any length?
Due to the Class 5 stranded conductor, the cable is flexible and easy to handle. It can be cut to any desired length directly from the roll, without special equipment.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
