The 15-meter 2.1mm DC power BNC cable simultaneously transmits video signal and power voltage to analog or AHD surveillance cameras, eliminating the need for a separate power cable. How it works and how to install it
The cable combines in a single bundle the coaxial conductor for video signal and the 12V DC power conductor, with connectors pre-installed at both ends. Installation does not require special tools: the male BNC connector screws into the camera's BNC port, the second male BNC connects to the DVR input, the male DC plug powers the camera, and the female DC plug connects to the central 12V source. The cable route can be secured with wall clips or cable ducts, without needing an electrician.

Does this cable also work with AHD cameras or only with classic analog cameras?
Yes, the BNC cable is compatible with analog, AHD, TVI, and CVI cameras — any camera with a BNC connector and 2.1mm DC power can be connected with this cable.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
