Professional Audio Cable 2x2.5mm with Cotton, 100m roll
The round audio cable 2x2.5mm with cotton and rubber insulation is the cabling solution for professional sound systems, recording studios, and performance stages. The generous 2.5mm² cross-section per conductor ensures stable signal transfer over long distances, without audible loss. The 100-meter roll provides enough material for complex audio installation projects.
What you get with this product
- Clean audio signal along the entire length of the roll — the 2x2.5mm² cross-section reduces resistance and minimizes signal loss even over tens of meters
- Superior flexibility in use — the cotton fabric sheath and outer rubber jacket allow repeated bending without damaging the conductors
- Compatible with the entire range of audio equipment — speakers, loudspeakers, mixers, amplifiers, electronic organs, electric guitars, and microphones
- 100m roll ready to be cut to the necessary size — you save time and costs, cutting exactly what you need for each run
- Color-coded conductors (red and white) — quickly identify polarity at each connection, reducing wiring errors
- Professional construction with internal textile filling — the cable maintains its round shape and does not flatten when passing through conduits or protective tubes
How it works and how to install it
The cable consists of two stranded copper conductors, each with a 2.5mm² cross-section, separated by a cotton layer and protected by an outer rubber jacket with an 8mm diameter. Installation is straightforward: cut the required length from the roll, strip the ends, connect the conductors to the equipment terminals respecting the red and white color coding. No special tools are needed — a wire stripper and screwdriver are sufficient for any connection point.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can this cable be used to connect passive speakers to an amplifier?
Yes, the 2x2.5mm² cross-section is suitable for wiring passive speakers to power amplifiers, ensuring optimal audio signal transfer without significant heating or loss.
How flexible is the cable — can it be installed in routes with tight bends?
The construction with stranded copper conductors and cotton insulation provides good flexibility, allowing moderate bends without affecting the integrity of the conductors; for very small bending radii, it is recommended not to force it below 5 times the cable diameter.
Does the roll contain exactly 100 meters or can it be shorter?
The roll is manufactured and sold at the standard length of 100 meters, marked on the jacket every meter for accurate cutting measurement.
