How it works and how to install it
The 5-wire RGBW cable connects directly to the LED strip by soldering onto the corresponding pads for each color channel, following the wire color code. Installation does not require special tools — a soldering iron and knowledge of the color code are sufficient to make a secure connection. The cable can be cut to the desired length directly from the roll, adapting exactly to your installation's configuration.

Does this cable also work for regular RGB strips, not just RGBW?
Yes, the cable is compatible with both RGBW (5 channels) and RGB 3528 and 5050 strips — for RGB, you use 4 of the 5 wires.
Can I order less than 50m, or is the cable only sold in a full roll?
The product is sold in a 50m roll. After purchase, you can cut the cable to any desired length directly from the roll.
What is the cross-section of the wires in this cable — does it support the current for an entire LED strip?
The wires are sized for standard use with low-voltage (12V/24V DC) LED strips. For high-consumption installations over long distances, it is recommended to check for voltage drop and, if necessary, power the strip from multiple points.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
