How it works and how to install it
Installation is done in a 19mm hole — insert the button through the panel, tighten the fixing nut on the back, and connect the wires to the 5 pins according to the diagram: 2 pins for powering the 12V LED and 3 pins for the command contact (NO — contact open when pressed, or NC — contact permanently open). No special tools are required, and the entire operation takes a few minutes. The wire connector is not included in the package and can be purchased separately.
Frequently asked questions
Does the button stay pressed or return to its original position automatically?
This model has a latching function — it remains locked in the pressed position and releases when pressed again. It is not a momentary button.
What voltage does the LED require, and can it operate at 24V?
The LED is designed for 12V power. Using it at 24V without an appropriate current-limiting resistor can damage the LED.
Can it be mounted on an outdoor panel, exposed to rain?
Yes, IP65 protection ensures complete sealing against dust and resistance to water jets, so outdoor mounting is possible.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
