How it works and how to install
The latching push button remains locked in the pressed position until a new press, unlike a momentary button which automatically returns. Installation involves drilling a 19mm diameter hole in a panel, inserting the button, and securing it with the included nut — an operation that can be completed in a few minutes with a wrench and a screwdriver. Connection is made via the 5 faston pins (2.8mm), according to the wiring diagram: 2 pins for the 12V LED power supply and 3 pins for the NO/NC switching circuit.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
