How it works and how to install it
The button is mounted in an electrical panel by drilling a 22 mm hole, after which the body is secured with the threaded nut from the back — an operation accessible to any authorized electrician in a few minutes. When pressed, the NC (normally closed) contact opens and the NO (normally open) contact closes, transmitting the command to the contactor or relay; upon release, the button automatically returns to its initial position. Power for the integrated illumination is supplied at 220V AC directly from the control circuit.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
