How it works and how to install it
The momentary push button activates the electrical circuit only while pressed, automatically returning to its original position upon release — ideal for momentary commands. Installation is done through a 22mm hole in the control panel: insert the button, tighten the nut from the back, and connect the 6 pins according to the desired scheme (2 pins for LED power, 4 pins for NO/NC contacts). No advanced electrician experience is required; the connection diagram is standard for M22 industrial buttons.

How do I connect the button if I only want a normally open (NO) contact?

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
