How it works and how to install it
The button has a latching function, meaning it remains in the pressed position after actuation and only returns to its original position upon a second press, unlike a momentary button. Installation is done through a 22mm hole: insert the button, tighten the back nut, and connect the 6 pins according to the diagram — 2 pins for the 220V LED power supply and 4 pins for the NO/NC contacts. The entire operation can be performed by an electrician in a few minutes, without special tools.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
