How it works and how to install
The button is mounted in a 22mm hole by screwing it in with the M22 thread, tightening it with the detachable nut and included sealing gasket — an operation that does not require special tools. The 6 connection pins are divided into 2 pins for 220V LED power and 4 pins for NO/NC contacts, each identifiable by its position. After wiring, the button latches its position on the first press and releases it on the next, behaving like a bistable switch.

What is the difference between a latching button and a non-latching button?
A latching button remains locked in the pressed position until a new action, similar to a switch, while a non-latching button returns on its own after you release the pressure.
Can I use this button outdoors, exposed to rain?
Yes, the IP65 class ensures complete protection against water jets and dust, so outdoor installation is possible, provided correct mounting and sealing with the included gasket.
Can I connect only the NO contact or only the NC, without using all the pins?
Yes, you only connect the pins corresponding to the type of contact required for your schematic — the 4 contact pins are separate and independent, you use either the NO pair, the NC pair, or both simultaneously.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
