How it works and how to install
The latching push button maintains its activated state after pressing and returns to the initial position only upon a second press, unlike a momentary button. Installation is done by inserting the button into a 19mm hole in the control panel, securing it with the included nut, and connecting the 4 pins: 2 for LED power and 2 for the electrical contact (NO or NC). The wire harness is not included in the package and can be purchased separately.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
