How it works and how to install it
The switch operates by mechanical switching between 3 distinct positions, each activating different circuits through its 6 contacts. The red LED automatically lights up when power is connected, indicating active status. Installation is done by inserting the button into the pre-cut hole in the panel or electrical box, then securing it with the included quick-release system. Cable connections are made via quick-connect terminals — no soldering or special tools required.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it waterproof or can it be used outdoors?
The button has IP67 protection according to the original description, which means it resists temporary submersion in water and is suitable for wet environments, boats, or protected outdoor installations.
What do 3 positions mean and how do I use them?
The switch has 3 distinct physical positions that allow independent control of different circuits or functions — for example: off/on/reverse on for motors or off/low speed/high speed for fans.
Can I connect a 2.2 kW electric motor to this button?
Yes, the 30A at 250V AC capacity covers motors up to approximately 7.5 kW, so a 2.2 kW motor connects without problems, with sufficient safety margin.
