How it works and how to install it
The terminal block receives the 185mm2 main cable as input and distributes the electric current to 11 outputs configured in 3 different sections: 2 outputs of 35mm2, 5 outputs of 16mm2, and 4 outputs of 10mm2. Installation is done by fixing the cables in the screw terminals, ensuring a stable connection without current leakage. Mounting is carried out in the main electrical panel, on a DIN rail or by direct fixing, by an authorized electrician according to protection and safety standards.

Is it suitable for residential or only industrial installations?
The product is designed for professional applications in commercial spaces, hotels, factories, and residential blocks with high consumption. For standard domestic installations, more suitable solutions exist.
Does the fire-retardant casing resist humidity or only high temperatures?
The fire-retardant ABS casing is resistant to high temperatures and does not sustain flames, but for humid environments, installation in a properly protected electrical panel is recommended.
Can it be used for direct current or only alternating current?
The UKK400 terminal block is designed for standard alternating current systems. For direct current applications, check compatibility with a specialist.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
