How it works and how to install
The G6 halogen bulb is inserted directly into the bi-pin socket of the light fixture by simply aligning the two metal pins with the socket slots, without twisting or screwing. Before installation, ensure that the power supply is cut off at the switch or fuse. It is recommended not to touch the glass bulb with bare hands — skin oil can create hot spots; use a clean cloth or the original packaging for handling.

Is it compatible with any G6 socket spotlight or chandelier?
Yes, any lighting fixture with a G6 bi-pin socket and 220V AC voltage is compatible. Check the nominal voltage of the lighting fixture before mounting.
Why shouldn't the bulb be touched with bare hands?
The natural oil from the skin deposited on the halogen glass creates local hot spots that can cause the bulb to crack or explode during operation. Use gloves or a dry cloth for installation.
Does the bulb get very hot during operation?
Yes, like any halogen bulb, it emits significant heat during operation. Make sure the light fixture is approved for halogen bulbs and that there are no flammable materials in the immediate vicinity.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
